MLKJ Day

Today (Monday) we celebrated Martin Luther King, Jr.  Schoolchildren celebrate with a break from studies and the federal government celebrates with the closing of government buildings.  People across the country celebrated by doing a day of service.  I am simply grateful that we continue to celebrate the life and legacy of this great man.  His life and legacy will continue to inspire for generations to come.  And in a world where hatred and bigotry still run rampant, it is important to remember that we are all called to bring peace and justice to the world.
