Lunch, Lunch, Lunch

Lunch is such a simple concept. It's often overlooked or under-appreciated during the busy work or school day. It's just something that needs to get done before you can move onto the next item on the list. Or it can be a brief respite from the insanity of the day; a chance to catch up with friends and colleagues; or a moment to be alone and bask in the silence. On Wednesday I got to have lunch with a friend. I worked for him over the summer and we try to get together fairly regularly. It was our first lunch since before Christmas and it was so nice to catch up even if only for a bit. It was lovely.
